"EDOLIA"
The sculpture consists of five distinct parts which can be arranged in different configurations/variations within space.
Their adaptability means that they can be flexibly placed in different parts of the city. We propose three basic variations which translate to corresponding spatial formations: independent, linear and spiral. The five different parts are actually structures/sculptural compositions of stainless steel. Their height and dense skeleton betray their dual function inasmuch as they also serve as edolia (sitting benches) for pedestrians to sit and rest.
